The Honeywell Admeco 712BNP is a 12 Volt 7 Amp Hour SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) Battery often used as a backup power supply for residential alarm systems. 

Alarm panels like the Honeywell Ademco Vista series commonly use Honeywell 712BNP batteries as an emergency power supply to keep the security system running during a blackout or a wide scale power outage.

12 Volt 7 Amp SLA batteries, like the 712BNP, generally power larger systems than those requiring 4 Amp batteries, and are often found in access control panels as well.
